May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It was started many years ago by Mental Health America organization. The US began observing Mental Health Awareness Month in 1949. Many organizations participate to help raise awareness about mental health & educate others of the various factors that can affect mental health, such as nature, the community, housing stability, and home environment.
