Six years ago, Courageous Connections became more than just a dream. To our ever-expanding family of staff, volunteers, donors, and participants who continue to make this dream a reality, thank you from the bottom of our horsey-loving hearts.

Courageous Connections Journey


  • Business license 6/28/2017

  • Nonprofit Status granted December 2017

  • First pilot Adaptive Riding class 2018

  • First full year of services 2019

  • 2020 Closed for COVID March – September

  • Reopened with a complete focus on Mental Health and wellness discontinuing our Adaptive Riding programs

  • Since our reopening in 2020 we’ve offered private, semiprivate and group workshops and have partnered with organizations such as Cancer Life Line and Cocoon House. We have experienced year over year growth
