Back in 2012, Cutter joined Equest Special Riders as an adaptive riding horse. Patty and Cutter built a special bond for the year that he was a part of that program before being sold. About a little over a year later, she found him on Craigslist and bought him back. He rejoined the program for about a year, before coming up lame and could no longer serve as a riding horse. He got to spend the following years living the life as a pasture pet with limited riding. He loves to instigate playful banters with every horse he meets and win the hearts of every person that meets him. He is your typical gelding- quirky, loving, and in your pocket. A trusted steed that carried her on her wedding day and carted around her boys when they were but tykes. He was pulled out of retirement as a hope to utilize him for adaptive riding, when he was not needed, he turned out to be a great confidence builder for our volunteers working on their leading skills. He spent the following years as a pasture pet that everyone loved before coming to Courageous Connections where he is currently in training for our Equine Learning Programs.
